The Parkway Commission
The Zachary Taylor Parkway Commission was created
by the Louisiana legislature in 1992 as a political subdivision
of the state. The commission consists of eight members, one from
each of the eight parishes through which the parkway will pass,
and eight alternates. With it's equal representation from the parkway's
surrounding parishes, the commission is authorized to handle various
responsibilities in connection with the Zachary Taylor project.
